is calling For Somali Premier to uphold the Freedom of
Expression, protect Journalists

The Associated
Somali Journalists ASOJ is congratulating the appointment
of Nur Hassan Hussein as a Somali Prime minister of the
Traditional Federal Government .
ASOJ will like
to Somali Prime minister promoting peace and democracy
including the freedom of Expression which is the pillar
for promotion of democracy and upholding the role of law.
Somali Journalists
so far has been treated in very hash way by view Somali
Officials way under taken their duties .
Some of them were
imprisoned, others were neglected to practice their jobs
independently an some Somali Journalists were killed while
fulfilling their responsibilities .
ASOJ will further
issue statements regarding the oppression against Somali
Journalists by other forces that are not allied with
government, the agency will also investigates the ordeals
and all odds against Somali Press .
Finally , ASOJ is
appealing for the Somali Prime minister to protect
Journalists from all kinds of harassment and respect fully
the Transitional Federal Charter which granted the Freedom
of Expression and the right of Association
