The Chairman of
ASOJ sends message to Somali Journalists in Nairobi.

Dahir Abdulle Alasow the Chairman of the Associated Somali
Journalists, has urged the Somali journalists in the Kenyan
capital Nairobi to solidarity support the justice, and emancipate
themselves from those who are meriting from their rights, and
using it as an NGO.
“I am advising my fellow journalists that it is taboo, to eat
carcass even if you are more than hungry, and you have been
cheated several times before, and the opportunity is here before
you, please make use out of this golden opportunity and elect the
impartial leader, and if you do so I am sure that you will be
having reputable name, and dump the names of the two men who are
opportunists, and working for the interest of the Somali
Journalists” said Dahir Abdulle Alasow the Chairman of the
Associated Somali Journalists.
The Chairman of ASOJ has also added that the candidate Mohamed
Sidii is a moderate Journalist who is worth be elected as the
leader

message via the media all of you, my fellow colleagues, I have
total confidence in all of you because I all know your
personalities, I am advising you to unanimously elect Mohamed Sidi,
because we have to leave everything for the sake of the general
interest of the Somali Journalists, and abandon the ideology of
saying who is in our line of policy, we have to carryout a step
which is worthy to be copied” added the Chairman of the Associated
Somali Journalists (ASOJ)

The Associated Somali Journalists has strongly urged the
international community, and the international agencies which are
concerning about the issues of Journalists not turn their eyes
from the Somali Journalists, who are facing great humanity problem
in the Some African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Djibouti,
Ethiopia and Somaliland.
The Chairman has also appealed from the Somali traders, in the
Horn of Africa to help these Somali Journalists who desperate in
their respective places.
“The Somali business tycoons who are merely watching the Somali
journalists who are helpless in their place should standup and
help these Somali Journalists, because they are the advocates of
the Somali people and a symbol of the nation, so thus it is
disgrace upon you if they die of starvation in you places where
you ran big businesses or ejected from the houses they live in
because of not clearing house rents” said Dahir Alasow the
Chairman of the Association of Somali Journalists
The Chairman of ASOJ has sent thanks to the Somali business people
in the Djiboutian Capital Djibouti for their courageous step of
giving monthly payment to the 6 Somali journalists who are in the
Djibouti.
On the other hand the Chairman has congratulated the Somali
Journalists who are working in the two Jubbah regions and Gedo and
praised them for abstaining help from anybody however the time is
challenging against, and still determined in serving the Somali
people.

“Making use out of this opportunity I am telling my fellow
Journalists in the two Jubbah regions and Gedo that you will soon
harvest the fruits you sowed, explicitly speaking I am aware of
the death of my fellow Journalists, and who was behind their
killings too, eventually I am saying that they are the winners in
front of the Almighty God in there hereafter, may their souls rest
in eternal peace.
