Somalia:Somali Exiled Journalists Association elects new committee+Pic

A ceremony named as the ceremony of the committee of Somali Exiled Journalists, has taken place at Andulus Hotel in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. In the ceremony the names of the Somali Exiled Journalists committee which its headquarters is in Nairobi was presented.

The guest of Honors at the ceremony were Mohammed Adan Teero from ETN TV, Mohammed Adan Tiicaye the administration Chairman of Ximan and Xeeb, Osman Shatah the Chairman of SOFEX organization, Hassan Ali Kuriya a famous Somali Journalist, Mohammed Nadif a Somali legislator, kaltum who is a lady from UNDP and Yussuf Hariri a veteran Somali Journalist.

As normal the ceremonies was opened with verse from the Holy Quran, and after the verse of the Holy Quran the guest of Honors were one by one ushered at the Microphone. Legislator Nadif has motivated the Somali Journalists on the side of unity and has expressed the significance of Unity among the, and has pledged that the Somali government will support the Somali Journalists specially those in Exile.

Mohamed Adan Tiiciye the Chairman of Ximan and Xeeb has said that the journalists are the eyes of the community, and they should submit their knowledge to their community.

Zahra Mohammed Koronto who has briefed the attendants said that this is the biggest Somali Journalists umbrella she has ever come across, and advised them not be interrupted by intruders and remain unshakable

“It is something very important for Journalists to united their brains and efforts, and we shall help the Journalists as much as we can to help them” said Shatah the Chairman of SOFEX organization

Mohamed Abdulaahi Sidii who was elected as the Somali Exiled Journalists in September has read the later which contained the names of the journalists with their different titles:
