Associated Somali journalists (ASOJ)
has declared on Saturday that it set a special board for
the investigation and tracking down those who were behind
the killing of the Swedish journalist who was yesterday
shot dead in Tarabunka square in south of Mogadishu.
Associated Somali Journalists said they have already found
collected facts indicating that the Swedish journalist
was killed on two reasons including;
· His killing was
behind by a warlord in Mogadishu who was against the pro
Islamic rally
· He was killed
because of having connection with the Denmark newspaper
which published a cartoon of proverb Mohamed (PBU).
The ASOJ committee stated the killing
act was committed by veiled person who has simply fired
the shot through the shroud not knowing whether that person
was male or female.
Also ASOJ is appealing the Islamic courts’
union to give very satisfied detail over the killing of
the western journalist since its militia were establishing
the security of the area.
Lastly, ASOJ is condemning the plotter
of the brutal killing against foreign journalist and ASOJ
is sending condolences to the family of the killed journalist
Martin Adler.
